Image consultation

The Basque Film Archive offers a viewing service for its collections at its facilities. If you are interested in viewing the collection, you should follow this procedure:

Location:

Tabakalera. Plaza de las Cigarreras, 1 (2nd floor)

20012 Donostia / San Sebastián

Opening hours:

Monday - Friday (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).

Thursday (9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m./3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.).

Users:

Researchers, teachers, and students (upon accreditation).
Consultation for the purpose of selecting images for an audiovisual production.

*Viewings are free of charge.

Requirements

Those whose consultation is for research, teaching, or study purposes must provide proof of this by presenting the relevant documentation.
It is essential that the reservation request be made in writing and at least one week in advance of the viewing date.
The day and time of the viewing will be reserved based on the availability of the room.

Application

Viewing requests must be made in writing by emailing filmoteka@filmoteka.eus.
It is essential to specify the reason for the consultation.
The user must provide a list of the titles they would like to consult or, failing that, specify the type of images they would like to consult, providing geographical, historical, temporal, etc. information.
The interested party must propose the dates on which they wish to view the material.
The number of people who will attend the appointment must be notified in advance so that the room can be prepared.
Requests for research, teaching, or study purposes must be accompanied by a document certifying this.
