Image transfer

Material owned by the Basque Film Archive will be subject to a transfer fee, depending on the use made of the images.

Depending on the ownership, a rights transfer fee may be applied to material owned by individuals or other institutions.

Any image transfer work will incur a technical duplication cost.

If new digitization is required, a scanning fee will be applied.

The person or institution making the request will be required to:

• Submit the request in writing, indicating the titles or references of the audiovisual documents.
• Provide written authorization from the individual or institution that owns the rights.
• Add the Basque Film Archive logo to any medium on which the transferred images appear.

Requests that, due to their volume or nature, may affect the normal functioning of the department responsible for duplication will be treated specifically.

The time frame for responding to the request will depend on the number of requests submitted at any given time.
