In the early 1930s, Teófilo Mingueza experimented with 3D cinema. To do this, he adapted a 35mm camera to capture images from both eyes in a single vertical frame. Special glasses with mirrors and prisms then allowed viewers to see the effect he was aiming for. In 1935, he patented this system. These images are from a documentary film about the capital of Álava, which was probably produced in 1933.
