This is an amateur documentary filmed in 8mm that took part in the National Amateur Film Competition in Vitoria.
Vitoria-Gasteiz celebrates Blusa Day on 25 July (the feast day of St James). It serves as a prelude to the patron saint’s festivities in honour of the Virgen Blanca, which begin in August. The images show various events taking place throughout the day: the Garlic Market; the donkey race in the bullring; the Bajada de Celedón; a visit by dignitaries to the Virgen Blanca; the funfair; fireworks; various concerts and general views of the capital of Álava.
