The towns of Barrika, Plencia, Gorliz, Armintza, Bakio and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in Biscay are also featured.

Gotzon Elortza is a leading figure in Basque cinema of the transition period to democracy. The Bilbao-born draughtsman and amateur filmmaker, based in Paris, is the author of four films in Basque shot on 16 mm. Filmed in a traditional style during holidays with his wife, Elortza’s films champion the Basque language and showcase iconic locations in Bizkaia from the late 1950s and early 1960s.
