Synopsis / description

This documentary takes a tour through the streets of Bilbao, showing people´s daily life and their customs. The footage reflects the rebuilding of Bilbao’s old quarter following the floods in August 1983. The documentary shows the floods that occurred in late August 1983 as well as events such as: Saint Agatha’s Day; the market in Plaza Nueva; Christmas; the Athletic Bilbao barge on the Nervión River in the year the Basque team won the league; the Semana Grande festival.
