A film reportage on the Carnival in Lanz, a town in Navarre situated some 25 kilometres from Pamplona. Here an ancient tradition - carefully preserved to this day - is celebrated on the Monday and Tuesday of carnival. On Sunday, the young men of the village gathered in the attic of the village inn to assemble ‘Miel Otxin’, the star of the celebration. The documentary shows the process of making the participants’ costumes. Finally, we witness the groups parading through the streets of Lanz and the unveiling of the giant ‘Miel Otxin’ in the town square.
